Dec 13th Join Julie Davis and Roy Laird for music and stories about midwinter in Colorado from the earliest days of the state. Whether it is Christmas at Bent's Fort or high in the mountains in the early mining camps, riding in sleighs to community dances in little prairie towns, or homemade music and homemade gifts, the early settlers in Colorado observed Christmas and Midwinter as a special time of celebration and giving. Come hear the stories and listen to the songs of a time gone by. Wed. Jan 24 th A Martin Luther King / Black History Month Tribute with songs, music and story about the struggle for freedom and the spirit of survival. This troupe has become a Denver favorite. A show that will inspire and encourage all who dare to dream. Discover the power of friendship and the bond between people of all colors. Wed. Feb. 28 th Celebrate Asian Heritage Month with Mudra Dances Studio . Enjoy the culture and dances from East India as this award winning troupe spices up the afternoon with the colorful costumes, exotic music and mesmerizing dances of the mysterious land of the singing mountains. March 21st Seven Falls Dancers and Singers from the famed Colorado Springs landmark will take out March with a roar. Some of the nations largest Pow Wow's is hosted in Denver; this is Aurora's tribute to a spectacular and stunning event. Learn about the history of Pow Wow and become part of a living thriving culture as Native Americans put on a truly education and entertaining showcase of dancing and singing. Wed. April 18th From the mountains of the Andalusia region in Spain to the plains and hills of Eastern Europe the gypsy has been both celebrated and misunderstood. Hear the music and experience the mystery of gypsy magic. Special guest from Rocky Mountain Storytellers Conference will tell the tales of the gypsy accompanied by the live music of the Ron Tomocik, master accordionist. Learn why spring was the most special time of promise to a people who dared to hope. Wed. May 2nd For over a decade the Aurora Fox has ended this unique concert series with a stunning showcase of Mexican and Spanish dance by the famous award-winning troupe Fiesta Colorado. Under the direction of Jeanette Trujillo this is the show of all shows featuring ballet folklorico, flamenco and Aztec dance.

Featuring a Denver favorite Mundo del Sol. Latin music and songs for the everyman that will make every one feel the love of Latina America. November 1 st Native American Month In tribute to Native American Month the Seven Falls Dancers and Singers of Colorado springs will treat the audience to fancy, shawl, straight and grass dancing. Experience the true culture of indigenous America as this troupe performs well-known favorites and little known dances and songs of the tribes that still live in Colorado. February 6th Black History Black Hands Drum Ensemble is a well-polished and professional dance troupe that will bring to life the rhythm of Africa. A lively and colorful musical experience that will leave the audience breathless.
Day of the Child April 27 th 7-9pm Aurora Fox 9900 E. Colfax free and open to the public Join in celebrating the fifth anniversary of Auroras own Dia de Los Ninos, (day of the Child). This national holiday is a tribute to youth through out the city. Dedicated to the health, welfare and education of the metro areas youth this special celebration brings together youth troupes from the metro area and provides a stipend to each school. Join us in celebrating youth! Sponsored by the Arapahoe SCF, City of Aurora, Colorado Folk Arts Council, Colorado Cultural Connections, Rocky Mountain Storyteller Conference and KUVO Jazz All concerts are free and open to the public.
